Corgi 321
Corgi 321 Mini Cooper 'S' Monte Carlo '65 (r.n. 52). Near mint plus/boxed. 1965 issue in over-flashed 317 box. From 'Gordon's Collection' - a high quality gathering of some of the most popular and sought-after models.
Notes
This Mini model has the early style casting with a Morris grille and 317 flashed box. The Mini is in close to mint condition with a bright finish and a notably complete bonnet label (with no centre line rub!) and intact racing numbers. Intact delicate rear transfer too.
Presents nicely with jewelled head and spotlights and a bright silver radiator. Sump guard has tiny tarnishing. Suspension on shaped spun wheels. Fine original tyres. Clean, unrubbed roof.
Note the finely added extra silver details now ( (sidelights, petrol cap and bonnet catches, Mini emblem).
The over-flashed box is crisp, clean and bright with 2 complete over-sticker labels (later issues would be presented in a 321 box). Very nice!
Light wear. No tears or graffiti. Lots of end flap spring. Corgi Club Membership Form.
