Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
Issued during 1967, this early issue is in all original condition with a complete and cast boot detail (not transfer). A later issue with ‘J’ registration plate.
Notably, the original detachable white roof aerial is still in place. Intact ‘Police’ signs and roof ‘light’ (small chip at the tip), jewelled headlights and bright shaped spun wheels. Complete registration plates at front and rear. Opening bonnet. Detailed red interior with tipping seats.
Very few marks to the paint.
The picture box is bright and complete, crisp with resistant end flaps. Light wear. Original packing ring is included.
