Corgi 339 1967 Monte Carlo Winner B.M.C. Mini Cooper 'S'. Near mint plus/boxed. Ist Issue with spun wheels in over-flashed 321 card box. Rarer over-flashed issue - note the autograph Mini pictured. With leaflet. Scarce model from The MBU Collection.
Notes
A sought-after Corgi rally car – with a bright red finish, white roof, racing number 177, early spun wheels with suspension.
This model displays well with six jewelled headlights/spotlights, two spare wheels in the shiny, undamaged, chrome roof rack, and notably complete detailed “Monte Carlo” transfers at the front (rear transfer has a couple of nicks). Especially difficult to find with the number plate on the bonnet complete, too. Fine original tyres.
Note the additional label on the base.
The over-flashed 321 box is clean and bright with a complete over-flash label ( so one end flap has therefore never been opened, since you would have to slit the over-flash label in order to open it). A little age transparency. Note this version is harder to find with the autographed Mini pictured.
Complete with the correct leaflet, too.
