Dinky 571
Dinky 571 Coles Mobile Crane. Excellent plus/boxed. Earliest example in dark blue box with picture label, leaflet and all 3 pieces of inner packing. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
An original example of this classic Dinky Supertoy made between 1949-54. Later it was renumbered 971.
Early issue – so note that this example does not have ’COLES lettering or indeed the chevron markings at the rear. Deep yellow and matt black, with yellow ridged wheels. With tan driver. Steel winding handle cuff.
The model is in excellent condition with a sprinkling of small chips on the yellow section. Original grey radial tyres – one is badly mis-shapen and would benefit from a replacement. Another has a flat spot.
The early vivid deep blue box is a very attractive example with strong colours on clean intact card. Occasional little edge scuff. Couple of little edge nicks to the paper label.
All three packing pieces are still present along with the Instruction Leaflet.
