Dinky 106
Dinky 106 'The Prisoner' Mini-Moke. Scarce version with CHROME windscreen frame & FEWER tan details at sides. Near mint/boxed. From The Cheshire Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1967-70, and inspired by The Prisoner’ t.v. series from this period, this Mini Moke model is in fine original condition with a white finish, chrome windscreen frame, tan finish on top side section only, complete red and white striped canopy (rather grubby now), intact white plastic aerial and intact bonnet label, front and rear ‘Taxi’ labels. The bonnet closes well too (often they don’t!).
Common fault – there is some damage to the plastic cover for the spare wheel (nearly always found split/damaged – this example has two small sections missing, too).
If you are looking for the occasional little mark to the paint finish, you will find a couple. The removable canopy is complete with all four plastic struts intact.
The colourfully illustrated pictorial card box is complete and clean with bright colours. Tiny wear only.
A difficult version to find – and indeed the first we have offered for sale in a long time.
