Corgi 336
Corgi 336 James Bond Toyota 2000GT. Near mint plus/boxed. With all original accessories. From The Cheshire Collection.
Notes
Inspired by the James Bond film “You Only Live Twice”, this Toyota model was made during 1967-69. Both original figures are present, intact aerial, jewelled front and rear lights, registration numbers at front and rear (small nick to front) and wire wheels, suspension on all four wheels.
Boot is reluctant to close (often the case with these models).
A little casting flaw at windscreen edge (as-made) and the usual marking to the paint finish on the rear over-riders. Occasional tiny mark besides.
The Secret Instructions Packet has been opened (no tears, although rather creased), and inside there are the Instructions, James Bond lapel badge, all eight rockets (some off the sprue). All original.
The inner plinth is very clean, bright and fresh. Just one very small tear at a wheel slot. Vibrant and crisp graphics/art work:
The outer box is strongly-coloured and complete. Couple of grubby marks. Light age/handling wear only. No tears or graffiti.
A sought-after James Bond item.
