Dinky 174
Dinky 174 Ford Mercury Cougar. Very near mint/boxed. Metallic blue with gold cast wheels.
Notes
A bright metallic blue finish on this classic American car issued between 1969-72.
Just a few marks on the silver base prevents a mint grade.
Opening doors, detailed deep orange-yellow interior with tipping seats, number plates at front and rear – and don’t forget the retractable aerial (notably intact), and operated by means of a lever on the silver baseplate (advise to leave well alone however, since it is by raising and lowering it that the chrome finish rubs off and often the aerial can snap off too). Gold-coloured cast wheels.
The pictorial card box is complete, bright and clean. Handling wear at end flaps at one end and an area of surface loss on one picture side. . No graffiti.
