Corgi 497
Corgi 497 The Man From UNCLE's Thrushbuster. Rare DEEPER cream export version. Near mint plus/boxed. With original Waverley ring. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
A sought-after item from Corgi in the scarce cream finish and made for just for one year only (1966). Usual colour finish is metallic blue.
This particular example has a rich deeper cream finish.
Close to mint condition with a complete bonnet logo Minor discolouration at edge and a light corner crease has pressed back into place. Please note that this is a completely authentic example, correct that it does not have a bonnet cast square immediately surrounding the bonnet label (only the metallic blue version has this casting detail).
Front bumper chip and a couple at the rear. Little rub at a door handle and a few mere dots besides.
This example comes with the original Waverley ring.
The * inner card stand* (deep grey with deep orange central rectangle) is crisp with bright strong colourful graphics. Minor wear only and no wheel slot tears. .
Lots of information on the UNITED NETWORK COMMAND FOR LAW AND ENFORCEMENT (U.N.C.L.E.) on box plinth reverse:
The outer box is complete and brightly-coloured. Light wear includes faint creasing on a non-picture side.
A rare t.v. inspired Corgi item in complete and authentic condition, issued for a very limited time.
