Corgi 474
Corgi 474 Musical Wall's Ice Cream Van. Very near mint/boxed. With FULLY WORKING CHIMES. Card stand and wrap-around card. Unapplied stickers on backing sheet.Instructions. From The Old School Collection.
Notes
One of the most eagerly sought-after Corgi models, especially with fully working chimes.
The Ford Thames Van has a shining blue and cream finish with striped awning and decorative trimmings, sliding windows and notably when you turn the handle the chimes play the complete tune (5 notes)! Bright plated fittings (few tiny marks) and complete ’Wall’s’ transfers on both sides. Windows are ever so slightly ‘foggy’ now (common fault – over time dust gets trapped and adhered to the interior surface of the windows – often found much worse than this example).
Nice to see that this example comes with the clean and bright colourful card stand as well as the wrap-around card packing piece.
The decorative card box is clean, complete and bright. Crease and a small end flap tear. Minor age wear besides. Shop label on a non-picture side.
A truly nostalgic piece!
