Corgi Gift Set 13

Notes

This scarce original Gift Set comprises:
A black and white Renault in close to mint, unused condition with a complete bonnet transfer (hard to find complete) and intact door labels. ‘Paramount’ roof sign labels are clean (often found with staining). A few edge nicks. Car is complete with spare wheel in the bonnet, driver, camera man and camera. Version with gold tripod.

Bright silver base and as-new original tyres with "Corgi Toys’ embossed. Detailed cast wheels.
Couple of little chips to the top of the camera and minor tarnishing to one small area of the rear bumper. Appears to have been rarely off the intact, complete polystyrene base.
Slightly later version with a plain orange card backdrop inside the box. Complete, fresh and bright. This set includes the race leader on his bicycle in his yellow jersey.

The header card window box is colourful with an attractive header card scene. Barley a crease at header card reverse where it joins the main body of the box. A little handling grubbiness and a tear at an end flap seam. Creasing to the card in places and a rubbed out price. The cellophane has been carefully replaced at some time.
