Nicky 194
Nicky/Dinky Toys 194 Bentley S Coupe. Metallic mid-green version, black tonneau, mid-brown dashboard. Very, very near mint/boxed. Purchased by the owner from a collector who had a contact in India. From The Rickman Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A virtually mint example finished in a distinctive mid-green shade with original silver details, mid-green interior, driver, steering wheel, and intact screen. Silver and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels with ’spoked details. Mid-brown dashboard.
Note the remains of a period price label on the base.

The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is complete and clean. Some of the usual rubbing at edges, couple of tiny end flap tears and a crease. Penned writing and price on one non-picture face.
