Corgi Gift Set 3
Corgi Gift Set 3 "Thunderbird" Guided Missile on Assembly Trolley & R.A.F. Land Rover. Very near mint -very, very near mint/boxed). Rare to find with all 3 card packing pieces.
Notes
A scarce set. Issued between 1959-63, it comprises:
i) 350 Thunderbird Missile in silver with a red plastic nose cone, on Trailer (RAF Blue finish with black plastic swivelling wheels, black plastic tow ring and metal clips to hold the missile in place). Very, very near mint. Most would say mint.
ii) 351 Land Rover in RAF Blue finish with a tin tilt, flat spun wheels (shiny), tow hook, well-shaped original tyres and spare on the bonnet. Blue-tinted screens. Outstanding lustre! Shiny base. Very close to mint.
Slim outer box is complete, bright and tear-free. Note the printed instructions on all small end flaps. Light age wear. Comes complete with the original card packing sleeve, additional card packing piece & rarest of all the thin cylindrical tube. Early ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership Form is included too.
