Notes
Second type cab issue of this Dinky truck made between 1952-56. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this example from May 1956. This is a fine and gleaming Supertoy model with a bright violet blue cab and chassis and an intense orange back (not dull), paler blue grooved hubs. This model looks very close to mint with a fine lustre throughout and excellent original silver detailing at radiator, headlights and bumper.
In outstanding original condition, with only the occasional negligible mark. Obviously carefully handled and stored throughout the 60 years.
The box is complete with no tears or repairs. A touch grubby now, with a corner edge crumple and a stray pen mark at a lid end. ‘LF’ Dinky label on box base.
