Dinky 431
Dinky 431 Guy Warrior 4 Ton Lorry. Very near mint/boxed. With window glazing. Scarce. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1958-60, this is a highly displayable and attractive example with a light tan cab and chassis, dark green back, paler green hubs. So fresh and bright with day-one original colours throughout.
Usual tow hook scuff and a little chip to the rear top edge of the dark green back. Tyres run well.
The deep yellow pictorial box continues the theme. These comparatively flimsy card boxes housing commercial models are nearly always found with heavy wear. Not so, in this in this case! Crisp and complete. Just one very small seam tear and no punctures! Faint grubby mark and a small crease or two. Very minor surface scuff. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
