Issued between 1951-54, this Studebaker Milk Truck is a very scarce item and notable that it comes complete with all 10 little metal milk churns.
In all original, honest condition with a few chips confined to the vulnerable areas of the cream section. (There are no touch-ins – when these models come to the market-place they nearly always have little touch-ins to the cream paint).
Virtually complete ‘NESTLE’ lettering on both sides. Bright axles and baseplate.
Fresh and shiny baseplate belies those 60 years, and the tyres are supple and well-shaped too.
The distinctive deep red lift-off lid box is complete and intact with no tears or graffiti. A couple of stains on the lid and some of the usual edge rubbing.
Complete, vivid yellow paper label at one end of the lid (correct).
Deep yellow card packing piece inside for the storage of all the little milk churns. All 10 original churns are safely stored. Two red packing blocks are in situ too.
