Corgi Gift Set 35 London Passenger Transport Set. Very near mint/boxed (wear) with packing. Scarce set. From The Old School Collection.
Notes
A desirable 3-piece Gift Set made between 1964-68 comprising:
i) 418 Taxi in black with fluorescent orange original details, lemon interior, driver. Shaped spun wheels. Very close to mint.
ii) *468 London Routemaster Bus (‘Naturally Corgi Toys’ version). Jewelled headlights. Shaped spun wheels. All original vivid red finish with complete transfers on both sides.Tiny mark head-on and a (probably factory-assembly) mark low down on one side. ‘Victoria’ sign on the rear destination board.
Policeman figure (directing the traffic) on a white circular plinth.
Delightful card plinth on which all items sit with an unmistakable London scene depicted. Small repaired surface tear at one side edge. No wheel slot tears.
Outer card box has another colourfully illustrated London scene. Vibrant colours. A little wear and tear at end flaps and a repaired tear at an end flap seam
