Issued between 1961-64, this is a popular two-part set from the Chipperfield’s Circus range, comprising:
1) Corgi 1121 Circus Crane Truck. Bright red and yellow finish with light blue lettering at the sides. Bright winding cuff is metal, painted silver boom version and strung winch.
Few little marks and note the addition of Corgi accessory tax disc.
2) Corgi 1123 Circus Cage. Matching finish, complete with all blue plastic sliding doors intact. Notably, the amber roof lights are intact, too. Blue doors are still strongly-coloured. Bright shaped spun wheels and red plastic tow bar. Virtually mint condition.
The colourful pictorial lift-off lid box is complete and strongly-coloured. Some edge rubbing and scuffing, but no seam tears or graffiti. Small area of surface loss at a lid end.
Complete with all packing, including the ring.
Complete with unapplied ‘POLAR BEARS’ transfer, Printed Corgi Note & Corgi Club Membership Form.
Unopened original bag contains the 2 polar bears.
A superb and obviously unused set.
