Notes
This original promotional Morris Mini Minor model, made in small numbers for ‘Reckitt & Colman’ to distribute to top retailers in order to promote ’Colman’s Mustard’.
Finished in vivid deep yellow, with a lighter yellow interior,* original label with ‘MUSTARD MANIA’ on the roof and a ’COLMAN’S MUSTARD’* label on one door (correct). Detailed cast wheels with suspension and fine original tyres. Rivetted base.
In honest, all original condition with sprinkling of chips.
This model was never issued in a specific ‘Mustard Mini’ box (this was verified by the son of a Reckitt & Colman’s regional Manager during the 1960’s).
The standard issue box however does have the all-important printed ‘COLOUR OF CONTENTS MAY DIFFER FROM THOSE ILLUSTRATED’ on the top surface.
