Dinky 171
Dinky 171 Hudson Commodore Sedan. Scarlet & deep turquoise high line. Very, very near mint/boxed. From The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
A classic Dinky model issued between 1956-58 with a distinctive highline paint scheme in deep turquoise and scarlet red, with red hubs, bright baseplate. Smooth original tyres are well-shape although note that one has a little minor surface scuff.
None of the usual rubbing on the roof. Just a minor mark or two away from mint. Tiny area of rough casting on the roof.
For comparison only, please see the two different versions of this highline Hudson Commodore below. This example is pictured on the right:
The card box is bright and complete if a touch grubby now. Light wear besides. Correct colour spot at the end flaps.
A truly beautiful Dinky toy!
