Nicky 194
Nicky/Dinky Toys 194 Bentley S Coupe. Rare issue in deep sky blue (non-metallic). Another first for QDT! Very, very near mint paint finish (windscreen surface cracks)/boxed. From The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This example is a difficult version to find and has fared better than many of these ‘Indian Dinky’ models.
This Bentley model is finished in an attractive shade of deep sky blue (non-metallic), red interior, a black ‘tonneau’, and comes complete with original driver and complete screen (few stress surface marks). Intact shiny bumpers.
Paint finish is in unused virtually mint condition.
One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Often found in poor state, these are well-shaped and run easily.
The distinctive ‘Nicky Toys’ box has some of the usual handling wear (including a scuff or two and a couple of very small end flap tears).
This ‘honorary’ Dinky is scarce and charming in equal measure.
