Corgi Tourist Carry Case. Near mint plus, with unapplied packet of transfers. Scarce find from The Old School Collection.
Notes
A delightful period item – and the first we have had for sale in a long time. Measuring 44cms. wide, 25cms. high, and 10cms. deep approx., this opening carry case would have been an ideal way of transporting all of your Corgi models within the compartments inside. Open the case and the Service Station may be viewed, complete with roof top ‘parking’ for your Corgi models!
Note that the Corgi Toys sign is no longer fixed to the top of the service station. Note too, that due to the case being opened and closed, the top of the ramps have split (where it adjoins the back of the case). Nearly always the case.Still presents very well, this rare Corgi Accessory looks as if it has been tucked away and forgotten about for many years!
Condition of the case is really very good indeed – strong colours with a delightful period scene.
Working catch closes the case securely. Bright and fresh looking throughout. Just a small lightly stained area on one side of the case, where the original glue has marked the plastic. Very light wear besides.
