Notes
This is an authentic correct South African box for the Opel Rekord model. An especially difficult find. Vibrant sharp colours on crisp card, complete with all end flaps at one end, lacks the large end flap at the other. Both internal end flaps at this site are complete, although one has a tear. Note the correct Afrikaans printed on the box on one face and the tiny print Arthur E. Harris (sole distributor), ‘Printed in South Africa’ on the box underside. ‘Assembled in the Republic of South Africa for MECCANO LTD.’ printed on the top surface.
