Notes
Issued between 1958-60. with a Bedford Cab. Complete, working condition with a vibrant red paint finish, correct that this early issue has no window glazing. Both ladder components are bright and clean. Needs re-stringing.
Couple of very minor marks and very close scrutiny finds a few small later touch-ins (need magnification to see them).
Bells are bright generally (some corrosion to one). Ladder and baseplate are fine. Small Winding handle including the cuff is shiny.
The striped Supertoys box is complete with *both upper and lower packing pieces (expected ruffling due to the weight of the model). Small tear to the upper packing piece.
Minor handling wear to the box (occasional rub etc). Shopkeeper’s penned price at one end of the lid.
Dinky stamp inside the lid dates this particular example from 1958.
