Notes
Issued between 1971-72, this desirable London Transport Gift Set comprises:
1) Corgi 418 Taxi, in gloss black finish. In very close to mint condition.
2) Corgi 468 Routemaster Bus ‘OUTSPAN’. In unused condition, this detailed bus with Whizzwheels has complete labels/transfers throughout and includes both a driver and conductor. Very, very near mint.
3) Corgi 204 Mini, in an attractive metallic blue finish. Lemon interior and clear windows. In very, very near mint condition.
Policeman on point duty, with his white arm bands, directing the traffic on top of a plastic circular stand.
The polystyrene inner is bright, clean and intact.
The outer window box is complete and bright, with intact smooth original cellophane. Light age/handling wear and a couple of small seam tears. Light wear and a small area of surface loss at an end flap.
An unusual Gift Set issued for just a short time by Corgi, and aimed at the tourist market.
