Notes
A sought-after late issue of this popular Dinky military model with window glazing and a demountable trailer. Made between 1964-66.
Barely used, this model has the (inevitable) marking where the two parts attach (and therefore invisible until separated, note there are a few flicks of paint). Few small marks besides (e.g. at the drop down ramps). Fine original tyres throughout.
Hard to find version and typically, one of the last variations to find when putting together a Dinky military display.
Striped Dinky Supertoys box is complete, clean and bright, showing minimal and careful handling. Small area of surface loss on one side of the lid ( where the original tape holding the box lid closed was removed). No loss of colour vibrancy, especially to the box base, which is wonderfully vibrant with minimal shelf wear.
Nice to see that this example has the packing piece still present.
