Corgi 448
Corgi 448 B.M.C. Mini Police Van with Tracker Dog. SPUN WHEELS issue. Very near mint/ boxed. From The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
This popular Corgi model was made between 1964-69. The Austin Police Mini Van is finished in deep blue finish with a red detailed interior, shining shaped spun wheels with suspension, intact original aerial, jewelled headlights and perfect ‘POLICE’ labels on both sides.
Barely a mark.
Also included are the original figures of the police dog handler and tracker dog complete with his lead (often missing). All safely slotted in to the crisp and bright inner plinth with a colourful backdrop. Note that there are no tears to the wheel slots (which have their push-out pieces still in situ).
On the reverse, there is background information on both the B.M.C. Mini Van and the training of the Alsatian police dog, and the work they do.
Colourful card box is crisp and fresh-looking. Only the most minor wear.
