Notes
The first example we have offered for sale, this is a rare, just post war-time, issue of the Studebaker State Commander finished in very dark green, with smooth black wheels (light crazing). One of just a very few that had this sheet metal baseplate using Hornby Train sheet metal left-overs (1946).
As discussed in The Dinky Toys Collectors’ Journal in Letters to the Editor, April, 2017.
Gleaming bright paint finish has a couple of little chips.
