Notes
A fine and original example of this early version made between 1953-54 (later renumbered 981). It is cast in aluminium and has a bright deep maroon paint finish, which is very close to perfect. One very small mark on the roof and just the occasional little mark besides. Perfect “BRITISH RAILWAYS” label above the cab window, perfect labels and transfers on both sides. A lovely and obviously unused example.
