Corgi Gift Set 1

Notes

This Transporter Gift Set comprises:

1) 1101 Bedford Carrimore Car Transporter in red, blue and very pale green, with flat spun wheels and silver deck details. Near mint with an intact Corgi Dog logo. Paint finish has some chipping at the ramp (practically unavoidable where metal meets metal)and the occasional small mark besides.

2)200 Ford Consul Saloon in gloss fawn with flat spun wheels. Very near mint. Stray flick of factory silver on a rear wing and the occasional tiny rub besides. Early blue box has some edge rubbing and a period penned price on the top surface.

3) 201 Austin Cambridge Saloon in turquoise, with flat spun wheels. Near mint. A few marks to the paint finish at some raised details/exposed edges. Shiny base. Well-shaped original tyres. Bright and complete early box has a crisp feel. Light wear.

4) 204 Rover 90 Saloon in grey with flat spun wheels. Very near int with a faint roof rub and a surface scuff on the boot. Shiny base and fine original tyres. Early box has light wear and a small area of surface loss on an end flap. Crisp feel.

4) 205 Riley Pathfinder Saloon in red with flat spun wheels. Shiny base and fine original tyres. Near mint with a few little marks to the paint finish. Bright, early picture box is clean and fresh-looking. Light wear only.

Note the little holes in the paper now.
Colourful lift-off lid pictorial box comes with interior card packing. Lid has a corner seam repair with tape and a smaller seam repair besides. Age/handling wear.
