Notes
This attractive Gift Set was inspired by the t.v. show ‘The Avengers’ and is in close to perfect condition, issued between 1966-69.
It comprises:
1) John Steed’s Bentley in red and black finish, complete with all parts, and including the figure of John Steed at the wheel. In very close to mint condition. Harder to find with gold spoked wheels. Fine original tyres.
2) Emma Peel’s Lotus Elan S2 in white. Very near mint condition and suspension on shaped spun wheels. Fine original tyres. Note that the side windows can be raised and lowered although one is reluctant to remain in the up position. Original figure of Emma Peel.
The owner has added 3 three plastic umbrellas (reproduction).
Inner card plinth has bright graphics. Just one little wheel slot tear and light wear besides. Both pull tab present and intact. Card packing piece in the base.
Outer box is complete and bright. Light wear and a very small corner ruffle/start of a tear. Period price label on an end flap.
