Corgi 209
Corgi 209 Riley Pathfinder Police Car. Very near mint/boxed, with packing card. Flat spun wheels issue. Scarce plain stamped end box. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
The first Police car made by Corgi between 1958-61. First issue had flat spun wheels, this is a more unusual find with shaped spun wheels. This example is in fantastic condition – obviously barely handled with a gleaming gloss black finish, intact Police sign on the roof, straight aerial and a bright baseplate.
Downgraded from mint due to speckled rust spots on the base and tiny marking on the bumpers.
The more unusual plain stamped end card box is bright and crisp, with only the most minor handling wear. Includes the card packing piece too.
