Notes
Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor unit with trailer is as nice as you will find; such a vivid glowing red finish, shaped spun wheels, clean and complete paper labels throughout and a bright blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
A few marks as a result of opening and closing the hinged doors (nearly always the case) and the occasional very small mark besides. Notably, both of the wing mirrors are present and complete with the little ‘reflective’ pieces. The item comes with the full complement of six grey horses.
The card plinth is complete, crisp and bright, with both pull-out end tabs firmly in place and tear-free. Only the most minor wear.
Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing sleeve – so often discarded.
The outer box is strongly-coloured and complete. Corner ruffle, light wear & pencilled scribble on an end flap.
