Corgi 1113
Corgi 1113 Corporal Guided Missile Erector Vehicle. Early metal cog issue. Near mint/boxed. Rare to find with all packing! Leaflet. From The Lake District Corgi Collection.
Notes
A detailed and impressive military model issued between 1959-62, with a movable boom which can elevate to vertical so that the missile can be lowered onto the launching pad (available separately at the time). Early metal cog issue (later plastic cogs would be used instead). This example needs a a little help in order to raise but stay in position once raised. Original matt military green finish has a few little chips at some exposed edges and a few little marks and rubs on the missile and the circular clamps which hold the missile in place (as one might expect). Intact percussion head. Spare wheel in place – often missing.
This example includes a black and white ‘Rocket Age’ Leaflet.
All original card packing pieces are included.
The attractive pictorial lift-off lid box is clean, complete and vividly-coloured.
Small top edge ‘bruise’ and light wear. No split seams or heavy wear. Period pencilled price on the box underside.
Very minor wear only – no tears or splits.
