Corgi 602 British Leyland Mini 1000. Bright yellow with RI 1959 roof decoration. 'CITY' in red stripe at the sides. Very, very near mint/boxed, with wooden plinth & RIP plaque. From the 'Exclusively Mini' Collection.
Notes
Limited edition (Number 38) with signature on plinth. Light wooden block plinth has ‘RIP’ plaque in black. Mini 1000 model in bright yellow with light tan detailed interior, opening doors, whizzwheels and shiny chrome radiator and bumpers.
Red stripe at the sides with CITY lettering. Virtually mint condition!
The owner informs us:
“The RIP Mini must be a Code 2 or Code 3. It was issued when Austin Rover wanted to stop production of the Mini around 1990. Fortunately BMW bought Rover snd they produced the original Mini till 2000 before the launch of the NEW MINI COOPER”.
Standard late issue box has light wear and intact cellophane window.
