Notes
Every Dinky collector remembers these! A well-loved Dinky classic that will surely bring back happy memories. Re-numbered from 564 in 1954. This Elevator Loader has a bright mid-blue and yellow finish with the original intact supple black rubber conveyor belt running smoothly (so often these suffer over the years becoming brittle and breaking). Late issue version in reverse colours with plastic wheels and simpler winding handle arm (without cuff detail).
Bright metal parts and complete with tailboard piece notably (these detach and can easily be lost over the years!). In very close to mint condition with the occasional minor mark and just a couple of factory dabs of yellow paint at chute edge.
The correct later issue yellow picture box with attractive scene is intact with no splits. Light wear only. All four packing pieces present along with the ‘TESTED’ label:
Expensive to buy at the time, this Loader frequently cost a whopping 18/- or thereabouts, significantly more than the Fodens etc. of the same era!
