Notes
Inspired by the James Bond film “You Only Live Twice”, this model was made during 1967-69. Very carefully handled and stored. Both figures present, intact aerial, jewelled front and rear lights, complete registration numbers at front and rear, wire wheels, suspension. Notably the boot closes properly! Nearly always chipped at the rear over-riders, this example has just one little mark to the bronze paint finish.
A little casting mark on a wheel arch.
The pristine Secret Instructions Packet is still sealed, so inside, there will be the instructions, James Bond lapel badge, and sprue with eight rockets.
The inner plinth is very crisp; in shop-fresh condition with all four push-out tabs at the wheel slots still present and attached. Wonderfully vivid graphics/art work:
The outer box is an exceptional example; so brightly coloured, clean and crisp. The card is silky, showing minimal and careful handling only. As fine an example as we have seen!
Comes notably complete with both the correct card packing ring and wrap-around card piece.
