Dinky 934
Dinky 934 Leyland Octopus Wagon. Near mint plus/boxed. All original early issue from 1956. From The Cologne Collection.
Notes
First issue in vivid green and yellow finish, red diecast hubs, green band above the radiator. This is a sought-after Dinky commercial truck and an eye-catching example on display.
Painstakingly examined for retouches – we are pleased to say that this high profile Dinky Truck has none!
Retaining its day one lustre and 20 mph label toward the rear.
Virtually unscathed tow hook too!
Occasional little chip in the usual places (e.g. couple of wheel arches, cab roof edge), and note a little area on the bed where the paint finish is a touch mottled now. Baseplate is rather tarnished now too. Well-shaped original tyres.
The striped Supertoys box is very bright, and fresh. No splits or graffiti. Light wear. Dated 1956 from the Dinky stamp inside the lid.
