Notes
A fine and original example of this early version made between 1953-54 (later renumbered 981). It is cast in aluminium and has a very lustrous deep maroon paint finish, which is close to perfect. Complete lettering at both sides and above the cab.
A few marks at the drop down ramp, another couple of dots at the side ramp and a small light scratch on the roof. Little mark at a wheel arch and a dot or two besides.
It comes in the correct early deep blue box with clean and bright paper labels. Vivid, unfaded colours throughout. English only print, specifically made for the U.S. market only.
Light corner crumple and light wear besides.
