Dinky 34B
Dinky 34B Royal Mail Van. Scarce early post-war issue with black wheels and black lettering and logo on both sides. Very near mint/never boxed individually. From The Phillips Collection.
Notes
This particular version with a black bonnet, wings and roof, filled-in rear windows was made between 1948-51. Black ridged wheels and black lettering and logo throughout. A difficult find!
A lustrous sheen to the paint finish and complete, clear ‘Royal Mail’ lettering and crest in black on both sides.
Tyres run smoothly (one is a replacement). Barely a mark to the paint finish although note the small area of casting roughness on the roof. .
