Notes
A rare version of this sought-after Corgi model with shaped spun wheels.
The car has a pleasing, rich purplish-blue finish, complete original bonnet label and chromed plastic spotlights.
Model functions perfectly (depress the button on the roof for the figures to ‘shoot’ the enemy!).
Bright and fresh-looking paper label, this model displays so well.
The original ring is included (both faces of Napoleon Solo and Ilya Kuriakin may be seen, vari-view).
Just one little chip at a front wing ( probably as-made).
The colourful card plinth with monochrome centre panel is clean and bright, with just one little tear at the slot for the ring. Very fresh indeed – and hard to fault otherwise. Original card packing piece within the plinth base.
The colourfully illustrated card box too is bright and complete. Tiny wear only. Period price label on an end flap.
Note the period publicity at the time shows the model with shaped spun wheels (Pictured in The Great Book of Corgi) and shown here for illustration only:
