Corgi 471
Corgi 471 Smith's-Karrier Mobile Canteen. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
A delightful model from Corgi issued between 1965-66 with ingenious “glowing” Trans-O-Lite lighting. In close to mint condition, with a bright, original paint finish throughout. Spring suspension on shaped spun wheels, and the chef rotates when the knob on the roof is turned. Complete “Snack Bar” and “Joe’s Diner” labels too.
Just a mark to the white finish caused by opening the hatch. Hard to fault otherwise.
The box is bright and complete, with a crisp feel. A little age/handling wear and a small seam tear.
