Corgi 407 Smith's Karrier Bantam Mobile Shop. Black base issue in harder to find blue & yellow picture box.Very near mint/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
This model has a very pale green finish, flat spun wheels, black painted baseplate. Presents well. Delightfully detailed grocer shop window scene with ‘Sugar Puffs’ and ‘New Laid Eggs’ especially high-lighted!
All paper labels are notably complete (minor ruffling to the label above the windscreen).
Peeping through the rear windows, one can see the grocer behind the counter waiting for customers.
Mere dot or two to the paint finish.
The blue and yellow card picture box is bright and complete. Minor handling wear includes a very small tear to an internal end flap. Crisp feel. Early Corgi Club Membership Form.
This model was in production between 1957-62.
