Corgi Labels
5 Original Labels for a proposed ( but never issued) APACHE PATROL Chevrolet Van & Artwork for Home Sweet Home Chevrolet Van. From the property of Marcel Van Cleemput, Chief Designer for Corgi More 'One of a Kind' ephemera from The Old School Collection
Notes
Both shelved projects, the Chevrolet Vans were never issued with either Apache Patrol Labels(right facing) or Home Sweet Home decoration. From the property of Marcel Van Cleemput the chief designer for Corgi.
Proposed artwork for the Chevrolet Van with ‘HOME SWEET HOME’ decoration never made it past the artwork stage. The ‘Apache Patrol’ decoration made it to the label stage but was then rejected. See page 369 in The Great Book of Corgi for more details on the proposed decoration for the Chevrolet Van and indeed this previous item at QDT
