Nicky 137
Nicky Toys 137 Plymouth Fury Sports. Near mint/boxed. Rare SILVER issue with bright sky blue seating & black hard top.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This particular example is a difficult find in silver, bright sky blue interior, both seated figures, black tonneau. Intact screen.
No ‘Dinky Toys’on base, but ‘PLYMOUTH FURY’ present.
Only 1 aerials present ( stub of the 2nd aerial now). One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Tinplate base. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Headlights and painted rear lights.
Couple of chips.
Colourful card box is the version with a sea-side scene as the backdrop. Small area of surface loss on a non-picture side and very light wear.
