Corgi 1144 Chipperfield's Circus Scammell Crane with Rhino Cage. Very, very near mint/boxed (wear). From The Pennsylvanian Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1969-72. This impressive set comprises a Scammell Handyman MKIII in blue and red finish with a shiny silver jib and hook as well as a rhinoceros in a plastic cage. Original paint finish, complete paper labels, detailed cast wheels. Complete and bright “Come to the Circus” label correctly on one side only. Rhino within its plastic cage with grass/straw detail and clear packing piece.
These white plastic inners are nearly always found with splits – this example has splitting (one notable).
The outer box is bright and clean with original cellophane (small tear). Small handling tear to the card.
