Notes
A remarkable purchase – originally from a Mettoy Employee, who also has several more of these 1960’s Corgi Classic colour trial pieces.
The original Corgi Classic range was made between 1964-69. The Corgi fire actually brought the production of this range to a close in 1969.
Corgi Classic 9022 was never released although it was pictured in the Corgi Catalogue from 1966.
This highly-detailed car has a rich bronze paint finish with an intact brown plastic canopy. Bright silver radiator and headlights. With driver.
A few little exposed edge chips. Note the use of the Corgi Classic 9021 chassis in red for this trial piece.
A unique find.
