Notes
The owner tells us:
“Most of my collection was created in the sixties and beginning of the 70’s.
All models have been in my possession since they were bought.
They were bought from shops during my travels all over Europe: Great Britain, Germany,
France, Italy, Sweden and Denmark”.
A sought-after Corgi car and one of the key items in the Corgi Gift Set 15 Silverstone Set. This example is in all original condition with a shining turquoise and white finish, lemon interior, complete crossed flags on the bonnet, suspension on shining shaped spun hubs, jewelled headlights, intact racing number 7 on both doors.
Virtually mint ( tiny marking at a headlight surround, factory assembly). Micro mark or two besides.
Grey base and well-shaped, fine tread original tyres.
Issued between 1962-65.
The box is bright, crisp, and complete. Period price label on an end flap. Very light wear. Corgi Club Membership Form.
