Notes
This Dinky Supertoy model was issued between 1954-57 and displays superbly with an all-original burnt orange cab and chassis, mid-green back and matching Supertoy ridged hubs. The model looks barely used. Several small nicks to the paint finish, but the overall impression is very fine indeed. None on the cab roof, for example – mostly on wheel arches on one side and a couple on the cab head-on. This truck has a fine lustre to the paint finish and just glows!

This later issue has a rivetted rather than the more common bolted back:

Bright axles and baseplate, although, since this model has spent most of its life in the box, the axle ends have become tarnished now and would benefit form a careful cleaning. Some rust staining inside the box lid and base, too.
The striped Supertoys box is complete with no splits at corners.

Some handling/age wear at edges, commensurate with the age of this model, and the faintest shopkeeper’s pencilled price of 8/6 on the lid. Small area of surface removal where an old price label has been removed (top right of the box lid) and a couple of tiny areas at one box end.
