Corgi 421
Corgi 421 Bedford 12CWT Van "Evening Standard". Near mint/boxed. Black issue with a silver roof. Scarce. From The Brighton Collection.
Notes
A delightful Corgi model in complete and original condition, issued between 1960-63. This van has a black body, with a silver ridged roof, smooth hubs. “Evening Standard” labels are complete on both sides. Bright baseplate. Minor rubbing/age wear to one.
It is harder to find in our experience than the half-black, half-silver version.
Few little marks on the roof (mostly little dots). Couple of tiny marks besides, including a rub or two at the front bumper.
The card pictorial box is complete and feels quite crisp. Rather ‘scrubbed’ in appearance. Some age/handling wear including a small part-puncture. No tears. Number has been written on one non-picture surface.
