Notes

Issued towards the end of the production run in this eye-catching bright metallic blue finish with a black roof, dark green rollers and base. An obviously unused example in very close to pristine condition, complete and authentic throughout. Complete ‘SHADO 2’ labels on both sides. Bright silver firing mechanism. Inspired by the Gerry Anderson UFO t.v. series, this model has a flip over roof mechanism which reveals a formidable rocket just waiting to be fired! Complete with spare missile, too.

One or two tiny marks to the metallic blue finish. Small paint flake on the base. Bright and clean two-piece polystyrene packing.
The window box with header card complete, clean and brightly-coloured. Intact original cellophane window. Bearing in mind the weight of the model and the comparatively flimsy condition of this type of box, this example has fared better than most! Small scuff to the top edge of the header card reverse. Small period label on the header card front. A little light handling wear besides.
